Post subject:  Diagnostic socket.

Jingle bells jingle bells merry Christmas..my question today is. In the diagnostic socket there are 4 pins 1 is black to ground 1 is live..the other 2 are information wires...ok with my tester red is live green is earth..I have the live and the ground what should the other 2 show ..? I have nothing with ignition on when switched off they all show ground...I'm trying to use my buelltooth that's just stopped working....many thanks

Thanks for the info Barney..I've just got another test probe that shows the lower voltage but it the amount...anyway I have the main live and the earth and 1 socket for send and receive info I have a good reading the other is there but weak I've checked the condition of the wires and it checks out OK..my question is what would cause a weak test on that wire (from the ecu) my buelltooth is still not working would like to get another one ....there's no buells near me to plug and test..many thanks any advice

Ok guys so I want LFW y/r low fuel I can only find power at yellow and red IF the clocks are connected/I don't want to use the clocks...can somebody please explain why or an alternative way of having a LFW :D

when you refuell bike , reset trip to zero , then when you reach 100 miles ,refuel .

That's no fun. I find it better if the throttle goes all fluffy, during a slightly dodgy overtake, requiring fumbling around under your left knee for a while, turning the tap, much more fun :-)
