Hi guys, my x1 today had the engine light glowing dull so I turned around to go home as a precaution. The speedo started to be erratic and the mileage display faded speedo went back to zero and mileage disappeared. Then rev counter went to zero. Bike still rode ok until then it spluttered and farted and came to a standstill and would not restart. I enjoyed the 2 mile push to home though ![]() |

Have you checked the voltage going to the battery when it's running, I'd be looking for around 13.5 volts ![]() |

The big black connector with the cable tie around it has a small bullet connector behind it, this is where that lead plugs into. |

So I found the other end hiding behind the oil pump. joined with a connector and now got 14 volts at battery when revved. Happy days ![]() ![]() |
