I have been looking at this recently. I got some Nissin N6-90R/L calipers as they are very similar to the Buell ones but the Buell discs are offset and the calipers are offset too compared to the N6s, they are about 10mm further outboard. This meant that the inboard side of the N6 calipers fouled the wheel spokes when mounted to the fork and wouldn't be centred on the disc anyway. I had found this image of a set that was being sold some years back using what look like 4 pot brembo callipers from Moto-Guzzi/Monster if it helps any although this is showing discs with a 6 hole pattern. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Cheers Stot

It might be worth checking out the Devilstars Club in Italy https://www.devilstars.com/ I met them at an EBR event ten years ago and it seemed like just about every other bike whether it was a Tuber or a Fueller had a twin disc set up. Website could be a good first step but they also have a Facebook page and Instagram account. Steve |

Did this during winter, not that it was needed but looks cool and i like solving problems! Nissin left caliber with 90mm mounts from eBay, OEM brake rotor also eBay, 3/4" master cylinder from Triumphy 1200 Scrambler i think it was, some machining to center the caliber to rotor, homemade bracket for caliber upper mount (between the 2 insex bolts) and second brake line made in a local shop + some holders for the brake lines. Total cost around €700. Caliber and rotor were new, master used. Works good and not too aggressive bite which i was a bit nervous of.

TRS666 ![]() Did you use a brake disc that is actually for the right side (centre and slots in the disc pointing other way around) Or did you found one that is especially for the left side? The only ones I could find are for the right side ,that's why I asked which different brake discs are fitting on the tube frame buell front wheels. |

Highly recommend these discs from Italy. I bought a pair and really, they were too nice to put on a motorcycle and get them dirty. Obviously, you have to tell them you want a left and right hand pair. https://en.discacciatidbs.com/product/b ... -standard/ |

Thought it could make noise or something but no problems. |

Looking sharp , but a bit expensive for almost 300- each ![]() My idea was to do this on a low budget kind of way ![]() This X1 is totally not a showroom piece ,so putting this together with second hand and used parts is the plan. But thanks much for your input! |
