If, like me, you hate jubillee clips - esp the small ones, then you probably use, Double A, Dog clips or whatever you call them. They've got two lugs that you squeeze together. The proper tool for these tends to be quite pricey and unless you make your own, Wilco are selling Tile Clippers. These work an absolute treat and are blunt enough not to cut the clamp as you squeeze it up ;)

Good tip :clap: I use a pair of blunt nail pincers.

godd idea Adam and TFD, for the trumpet circlip i used two needle file handles after struggling with pliers and bits of tube for ages.

Wasn't talking about the spring clips, I was on about the double A, O clips (or whatever you call them :lol: ) etc that are often found on breathers, fuel lines etc. They are non reusable and usually need cutting off with side cutters.

A few of the homebuilders at the airport are carrying on about this thing instead of jubilee clips looks a bit of a faff but may be useful.....
