should have posted this here in tech in the first place, to keep the how to section clean...

More mithering; might madden Maz :
I searched (and searched...) through pages in the archive last night for info on breather mod. Found out that :maz: has recommended methods; found out that :maz: thinks one proposed method is rubbish; found lots of folk talking about :maz: 's mod method. Could not find any specifics on :maz: breather mod.

Could someone please link to a thread, archived or not, to help?

Hello

I am still going to populate this thread. There is more than one way to skin a cat, there are a number of methods that work. I was going to treat it as a design exercise rather than say "you must do it this way".

Stay tuned, hopefully do something this weekend.

Nick

Hi Pash, I don't want to contradict you or :maz: for that matter, but I came across this:-

To echo longdog_cymru's comments...but a quick question ;)

Can you buy a catch can like that in the above instructions?

And will it not still spray crap all over the rear tyre?

No contradiction dude...

There are stacks of ways to do it, there are lots of arguments for and against and there are people that say their method has changed their life.

I will put down my thoughts, unless someone else wants a crack, after all, I am an expert at nothing, just a guy that wants us all to share stuff in a structured manner so we can all benefit :D

Hi Pash,

Yes, I know there is more than one way to skin a cat, (or let a Buell breath!), and I and many other Buellers are waiting patiently for your next "How to".

You have taken on a difficult task and you are doing a great job! Full marks to you for producing a very readable and practical series of the "hows and whys" of modding and improving our Buells. :app:

Umbongo,

You can buy the catch can kit from Drummer or from SB. Their web sites are below.
