Guys,
Removed my rear wheel yesterday so that I could deep clean it and re-torque/copaslip etc...
I removed the front part of the belt guard (black plastic cover) but should I have removed the rear part (thin metal plate) of the belt guard as well before slipping the belt on to the sprocket?
I did not removed the rear guard and did manage to slip the belt on without twisting the belt although I did have to slightly tilt the the wheel for the belt to slip onto the sprocket.
Just wondered if I really should have taken the rear guard off before installing the rear wheel?
Pleased I did the job though as a couple of years ago I would never have attempted anything like this but watching Mr Waff change my bearings has given me a little bit of confidence to "go for it"
.
Also, can anyone explain why Buell give you the big nut thing so that you can undo the axle but they don't give you an Allen Key for the pinch bolt? Real pain as the metric sized Alan key is about 9.5....
Thx
Neil
