A question regarding throttle response on my XB9SX City, when I blip the throttle there is a slow response of a couple of seconds before the rpm actual returns back to the idle rpm I was told by my dealer that this was normal so I thought it must be a Harley engine thing but have recently noticed on a few Harleys that do respond a lot quicker on throttle blipping so is this purely a Buell characteristic of a slow response back to idle rpm when blipping the throttle? |

'07 and prior, you'll need ECMSpy sprogram on your laptop and a special cable to connect it to your bike to perform it yourself; '08 and newer, there's a simple process you can do with your on/off switch and throttle - suggest searching for that. Simply put, a TPS reset is a reset of your Throttle Position Sensor to a zero'd out position, and it helps with all manner of hiccoughs. A patient search will be worth your time. |
