Toppgumm, according to the auction photo of a Warr's letter it's an X1, although the ad says S1. :?

Read all about it !

WHAT A BUNCH OF NEGATIVE WIERDO'S YOU ARE, HAVE HAD CHAIN DRIVES ON MY BUELLS FOR 20K MILES PLUS WITH NO PROBLEMS. THANK GOD I AM GETTING RID OF MY BUELL'S IF THIS IS HOW YOU END UP!!

IF YOU DONT WANT IT PI** OFF AND BUY SOMETHING ELSE, DONT PICK AT THING'S TO TRY TO GET BROWNY POINTS WITH THE REST OF THE ANORAK'S

JAP BIKES ARE WAY BETTER HENCE THE SALE..

Unfortunately you will probably want a shed load of cash for this bike and that then enables people to ask you genuine questions. Many people are interested in what you have done differently to the standard bike and there are also many inexperienced people on here who may feel the need to buy a Tuber but need to be helped in making an informed decision. This is where the Forum comes in. You may want to consider your position and why you feel that selling a niche bike on a niche forum is hard work?
Good luck with your sale.

I take it the mileage is road mileage only and does not include any miles completed whilst racing? I make this assumption as I'm sure only the tachometer would be fitted to a race bike.

I believe all the X1's are registered as S1's on the logbook
this was for Buell to get around homologation, emissions.. IIRC ?

It was, so I can understand that action.

That said I had just gone out for beer & popcorn & came back to find it gone. :eat:

Which was a little disappointing. :sad1:

Handbagging can be nearly as much fun as rants.

Nige. 8-)
