Anyone got one?
Dealer can't get them in til July 20th and I'd like to get back on the road before then...

Check my garage tonight think there could be one not too sure. Give Warrs in Chelsea a ring they normally have a lot of Buell parts in stock if they have one I'll pick it up on my way home tonight.

Have a look at yachting or HVAC equipment also. Some supplier offer similar straps there (like e.g. the Normaclamp GBS), but I never found one of a suitable length.

Gunter - thought about it but been reading up on other people on badweb who have tried other straps and none of the ones you can get like that seem to last more than a couple of weeks before they snap...

Might be worth to try something else than that buy-american stuff... we already know, that it isn't working, otherwise this thread wouldn't exist.

True, you make a good point.
I'll maybe take a wee trip to the docks tomorrow and find a yachting supplies or ships chandlers or something and see what they got....

At the end of the day, if it breaks then I can get the Buell one later in the month.
