Hello everyone I hope you enjoyed the day, it sounds like it. Shame that we almost, but not quite, made it, thanks to my belt snapping mid-overtake :sad1:
Thanks to Jon for leading us from BB Newmarket and to Bernard for coming back to see where Jaques and I had got to :)
And big big thank you's to Steve and George for helping a damselle in distress and sending a van to pick up my bike. They even sorting my new belt out for me so I could ride home today! That's real service! :4roz:
Mind you it did mean that I had to ride pillion back to Newmarket on Jaques' bike :uhoh:

Oh that's really good news :yup:
Such bad luck, bless you. There's always next year, who knows, Jaques' may even a have a Buell by then too! 8-)

What!?! Trade in a lovely dependable Kwakasaki for a Buell!?! What kind of masochist would do something like that...

Well another great day in the company of some great folks lOl lOl counted 66 Buells today so not the busiest we've had there but still a good turn out :yup:
Thanks again to CJ and Jane for organising 8-) and despite Tigs threats i didn't have to chase her around the carpark as it was far easier to just flick her kill switch lOl
And like Mojo often says ...........one lousy sheep lOl ..............broke the ice though ;) ..........
I may have been one of the closest there at about 25 miles but they are 25 of the best biking roads in the UK :yup:

Also had a first, took the bike to 3 figures, before Maz asks it wasn't down hill with a force 9 gale behind me, thexbcan get there.

Another good Buell day.
Good ride up (Pash, Onanist, Daywalker and Mr & Mrs T) and nice to see so many Buells and owners new and old. Good to finally meet a few new faces (Whitey and Greasemonkey) and a shame that Maz had the hump with me
Bikes are looking good Smarty and I'm liking Pash's rat bike

Thanks again Chris & Jane for all the hard effort

Seems like it was a good day from an onlookers point of view. Any chance future meets can be further south to encourage southern buellers to come along? Once or twice a year?

Well perhaps its time you stopped being an onlooker and made a bit of effort to join in. We dont bite.........much. After all with the best will in the world a mountain will not go to mohammed. Get a grip and do as others do ......Timo once rode from Finland to Em's Day. On a slightly lesser scale Norrie and Rawni both come down from Scotland and last year Crabbit came over from Ireland. A drop in the ocean compared to you ph ;) and I think you might just be stunned at your reception. However if you also get off your butt and arrange your own get together down your way and post it you may also be surprised at who turns up. You get out of this group what you put in :!: :!:

Anyhoo back on track a wonderful day out and Em was relatively well behaved weather wise :hehe: . Thank you to CJ and JJ for yet again putting their efforts into making the day what it is. It was wonderful to see everyone again and catch up. See you all at D3

I should have realised the word BLOW and men would have that reaction :oooops:

Oh, this old one. lOl

If you want to get much further south than the meet we have at Sammy Miller's place, you'll need engine modifications. ;)

Alternatively, as Tigs says, suggest something. 8-)

Perhaps PH could write a nice letter to East Lincs Aviation Centre and persuade them to relocate to Plymouth High Street?
I for one would certainly make the trip, just to see a Lancaster taxiing past Argos. ;)

PH, this is the main Buell gathering of the year. The venue is cast in stone.
I'm sure with a GS and Ewan outfit, the trip would not have been too arduous.
