Now at home! As said in earlier post! Great to see everyone who attended! 8-) Am losing my patience with the redheaded one regarding sorting the weather. Our Journey up yesterday with Millsy included a stop at welney to meet Ronald(great to see) and raise a drink (Diet coke) to Yoffi! :(
Lovely to see sue and spen at their first Ems day! 8-)
Thanks to Rick n Tigs for letting us stay the night and for the wonderful meal we had at the white horse pub! 8-)
So looking forward to D3 in a few weeks! 8-) 8-)

I so wish we could have joined you guys. Sounds like you had a great day. Maybe next year. We will definitely be at the WSB Silverstone and Sammy Millers. I think D3 is out as we will be travelling to the BSB at Brands Hatch for the weekend.

Hope to see you all soon. xx :4roz:

Why has the big blue bird from the shores of the River Tame left the reflectors on his front mudguard???

By eck, this topic's grown a bit since Friday morning. It's taken some reading :ill:...

Jane and I would like to thank everyone who attended on Saturday :worthy:...

We made the most of our weekend in Lincolnshire so didn't get back until late yesterday. I'll sort through my pictures etc. and post further details tonight.

Thanks as usual to Chris & Jane for all their efforts. Got there a bit later this year after choosing to run down with the Ducati boys - via York! Convinced them to go back the Digger route in the sunshine - hardly any cars and lots of bends - life was good once more! :sun: Pity Spondon didn't make it, was hoping to see his twin disc conversion as the 1125R definitely needs some more stopping power to tame that 146 bhp!
And finally, yes Spooks you are a jammy git. drool, drool. Can't wait to see the cafe racer. 8-)

Got home Sunday afternoon after a great weekend with just the one glitch; Lost all clutch fluid overnight on Friday so lurched into East Kirkby. (luckily only staying 2 miles away) After refilling with fluid and bleeding clutch. (Jon is an excellent nipple man  ..Cheers Jon and thanks MO for use of 8mm drive :yup: Thanks all for help and not too much piss taking. I got your spanner Pash, not sure what it was for tho? I'd recommend all 2010 1125 owners to carry an 8 mm ring spanner cos it sounds like I'm not the first to have had this prob even on the 'new clutch system Doh) Got home fine and no sign of any more fluid loss this morning??? Taking in to Shaw HD to get it checked out and cleaned out and any new bits req  Should have taken X1 or S1w but didn't want to show Maz or GMonkey up :hehe: Cracking bikes there Maz and Ian, even if Maz's 'almost' looks a bit bling :sun: (it's just so right)
Thanks again Chris and Jane for all the organising etc. Lets hope the Pub finishes it's extra accomodation by next year as it's a great place to stay. Very friendly and awesome amounts of great food.
Good to meet all again still don't get to speak to everyone despite being virtually first there and last to leave. Nice to see so many girls on Buells :yup: and even Pink Willy dressed a bit girly :ner: Nice to meet you mate you've certainly got some nerve :yup: :yup:
Richie's old mate Vic should be some sort of club mascot, he's a great bloke and really enjoyed his weekend with UKBEG. Great night on Saturday with company ranging from Morrish at 13 up to Vic in his 70s.
Top Tip; when in the countyside, stand next to Norrie :yup: and don't wear a yellow T shirt.

My first Emma Radford Buell Festival. Thanks Chris & Jane for making it all happen. :yup:

Nice to meet folks and see their bikes, and to see Maz out on his S1. Not seen Robbin since Redmarley 2007. And it was generally sunny for the most part at E.Kirkby and enroute (I put this down to my buying and packing a rainsuit at last lOl ). Dakota flypast was also a last minute bonus. :sun:

Decided to camp at 'The Hobhole', a small site with peacocks, ducks and pet rabbits running around between the tents. Good if you like animals and quirkyness. 8-)

Rode home in 4hrs via RAF Cranwell (being sad and taking a picture of my XB by the old main gate lOl ). As a result I also made the mistake of going through Sleaford and Grantham, which must have added 1/2 an hour to the ride time. Still made it home in daylight tired, but on a high from the trip. ;)

147 motorcycles attended Em's Day. This included 66 Buells and approx. 60 Italian bikes. Considering the mixed weather forecast and persistent showers early in the day we were very pleased with the turnout. Thanks once again to everyone who attended.

We took £886 on the gate, £376 of which goes to Em's Charity, the Papworth Hospital Cystic Fibrosis Unit.

Interest in Buell motorcycles will probably fade away over the coming years and we may never achieve 100+ Buells at Em's Day again but you can rest assured that this particular event will continue for the foreseeable future.

A few of our pictures from the weekend...

Jane on gate duty with her Guzzi 750. Jane's dedication to this event is outstanding :4roz:...

Jane and Emma's Buell, Barney....

Once again we had great support from various Italian motorcycle clubs.....

The Red Lion, Revesby. Perfect location and superb food, served in very generous portions :P....

Surely in it's current form (pre recent factory closure) it will become a cult, or a legend, but not a 'fable of a failed race' ;)
