Regarding getting in?? do we just turn up at the main gate?? or is there a seperate entrance.....and the track time..I'll be turning up on Saturday morning around 10ish on the GS1200 with our lass on the back, in full touring trim...will they let us both on the track with that lot, both have full textile suits....and sat-nav to find our way around.....any ideas??

Stay lucky Woody.

yeah we got two laps
more people this time and although it ran smoother it was maybe a bit more disorganised
we had the briefing but when we got on track some people just went for it only to spend most of the lap all bunched up behind the pace car.
still its a great experience and very grateful or the opportunity :yup:
roll on bsb :)

We arrived home yesterday early evening after a great weekend, track time, pit passes for both days, stood and watched the post race 1 interview with Leon H, Johnny R, and Carl C. in the pits. Camp site entertainment was also great.

Norrie stayed over at ours last nignt and has just headed north out of Peterborough to Scotland (avoiding motorways) 320 miles. Thanks again CJ for doing the leg work, Silverstone staff took very good care of us. That and good company, made for a top weekend :sun: :sun: :sun:

Been home about an hour.
Had a fantastic weekend. :D
Done 835 Miles in total including a couple of laps around the track which was brilliant. Really enjoyed the ride and had it dry most of the way apart from a couple of showers today. Needing new tyres again, That will be the third set this year. :o
Got 8400 Miles on it now.
Had a brilliant laugh camping and thanks to everyone for the great company. I was very drunk Saturday and Sunday night and couldn't beleive some of the sights that we seen on Saturday night. A family of penguins, Wonder Woman, a guy in a tutu and you've seen the guys in the hot pants and mankini. lOl
The band were shit but played some great songs and they sounded better the more I had to drink. lOl
It was really good getting the pit passes for free and it was good to see the riders getting interviewed.
Considering the weekend ticket was only £40 and camping was £25 it was great value and would do it again.
A big thanks to Richie for putting me up last night and at least I was a bit closer to home but it was a mistake going drinking last night on an empty stomach. :oooops:
At least his dog didn't eat me.
