If it looks too good to be true then it probably is.

Emailed the bloke and got an email back from a different email address from the one I sent to here is the reply I got

Hi,the bike is still for sale and this is a private sale. It was used only by me and I took care personally of it, I washed it meticulously after every ride and I changed the oil periodically. It`s HPI clear and will come with a full up to date Service History, Owner’s Manual, Log book and with two sets of keys.By the way, it is now stored in Scotland with a shipping company and if you were to buy it, an agent would have to deliver it to your location.
 Thanks

Why would a bike from brum be with a shipping company in Scotland?

.........And why would you periodically change the oil on a year old bike with 975 miles?

If it looks like shit and smells like shit, don't step in it. ;)

That's no way to talk about a 1125r! I think I might give it a miss.

Definately bollocks - I checked it out as I live in Bromsgrove - got the same story with different name, email and docks and the phone number was not obtainable.

Doubtless a sizeable deposit paid in advance would secure it

Polecat, a bit off topic but has Sutton motorcycles opened their store yet? If so is it worth a 30 minute ride over lickey to go and see?

Hi,the bike is still for sale and as you can see on the pictures it is in a very good state.
Thanks

So I`ve sent this one back

Conning TWAT.

Regards

Lloydy

;) wonder if reply will be the same?

A mate ran a check on the number, which when answered is diverted. He thinks it is one of these foriegn numbers directed through an Irish centre which charges YOU to call it. These cons can be up to £2.50 per minute. Maybe this is the moneymaker and not taking deposits on bike.

I'm not sure if its the same person running the ad (con) but my dad inquired about an XBSCg for sale and he got a similar response: bike in storage in Scotland, bloke worked on an oil rig, pay the shipping company the full price etc. He reported it to the police.
Be careful. I'm sure this doesn't apply to anyone here but remember... a fool and their money are easily parted!

Response after asking to view before paying,
I signed an insurance policy and I paid in advance some money for the shipping fees. As soon as you make the payment to the shipping company through Western Union individual payment system, prior to delivery, my bike will be shipped to your location and you will have to test it and also sign the documents: the V5, the agreement for releasing the funds to me and other documents regarding delivery. In case that you would find something damaged at my bike I would assume myself the responsibility of getting it back on my own expense, but I don't think that something like this could happen because I really know what I own. If you were not  happy with my bike, you would receive a full refund.
In order to go further with this transaction I need your name, address and also a valid phone number. After I will get those details I will forward them to the shipping company and an agent will contact you.

What time did you get the replies...............around 3.30 am or similar?
Seems like a pattern could be emerging as Western Union is used by most Asian cons.
Also in one of the ads it gives a supposed landline number which happens to be one digit too many for the UK.

This guy is at it all over the place. He`s got similar cons going in Australia and Canada and a few other places. I did a search on his email addresses and this is one result
