... and I just thought that I'd let you all know ! 8-)

Never a fan of Pirelli's that were fitted as standard, always found them twitchy in the wet - but that may have just been a mind over matter thing due to the fact that I had no confidence in them.

But the RA 2s feel great in comparison, wet or dry ! Only downside is I don't think I'm going to get 6,000 miles out of them ( as I did the Pirelli's :oooops: ).

So a big thanks to Adam and :maz: for the recommendation. :app:

The RA 2s are on the R.

Currently running a Diablo Rosso on the rear ( and a Corsa on the front ) of the CR - had a bad puncture in the original rear Corsa at less than 1000 miles. Still undecided as to what to replace them with though - it doesn't hurt to try them all - may try Metzelers as you don't hear much about them on Buells.

Had the r/attack sport on my Beemer boxer cup. Plenty of grip in all weathers, but buggerd the rear up in less than 3K, so moved on to the standerd road attack. Same style of ridding and grip and got 5K.
Shall move over to them when Iv buggerd the tyres up on my new purhcase 1125R.
Just remember all modern tyres are good? it's what's in the mind and what you feel comfortable with  Came off a bike with Michalines and never fitted them again.

Found that the RA2 rear is keeping its profile a lot better.May see more than the usual 4k out of a rear.No issues wet or dry and have proved even more confidence inspiring than the originals, which I loved.

I've now done 700 miles on mine and i love them.

Soooo much more confidence inspiriing that the Syncs that were on the bike when i bought it. Rode home from the tyre shop in the rain and it was like it was bone dry.

The conti attack lettering is definately a lot shallower than it was 700 miles ago though

The S1WL only got just over a thousand miles out of a rear diablo but grip was good.
Have had a set of Maxxis sportmax touring on coz they were cheap not as grippy but not bad for the price still only got 2600 out of the rear.
Conti RA 2's next have heard a lot of good stuff about them, hope they last a bit longer

6000 Miles. I only got half of that out of the Pirellis I had fitted and the rear one was totally shot.
