Although this won't make a differance I've got to reply just to get this off my chest.
Problems?
warped front disc 2500 miles replaced
rotten pipes 1000 miles replaced plus ceramic coated
leaking pannnier 1000 miles still waiting for replacement
rotten pannier frame still waiting for replacement
Wheel bearings 2500 miles replaced
grab rail paint peeling waiting for replacement
passenger footrest hanger paint faded waiting for replacement
tail light unit coating peeling waiting for replacement
Clutch failure 3000 miles replaced (water ingress) Mod to cable now done
exhaust band snapped and muffler intake sheared 5500 miles repaired and awaiting replacement exhaust unit.
front (metal) subframe rusting waiting for replacement
rear sprocket coating flaking waiting for replacement
front brake disk scoring, waiting for it to get worst before replacing.
Dealer attitude? Can't really print it.
ability to access spares? as above.

engine managment light randomly coming on, unresolved I can't fix this
engine constantly rough running at low speed unresolved I can't fix this
Rear shock bad two up, this I can fix, either a diet or I buy a hagon shock.

Other than that I love the bike but it will be replaced unless someone can resolve why she turns into a kangaroo at town speed as it's horrid in traffic, worst than my V-Max after tuning.
Thanks for reading those who made it to the end, I just needed to write it down somewhere
:sad1:
even the guy on here who's the expert doesn't like XB's

as a PS the dealer referance doesn't include you Steve. you and your crew were very kind, tolerant and understanding and I will be back to buy a bike from you.

06 Uly with 15k on it.

Rear bearings at 5k and fronts at 14k. Now on the third belt - 0k to 7.5k, 7.5k to 13k and 13k to now. A handle bar switch needed cleaning, cant remember which one, at about 8k. Earth sub-frame point needed cleaning at about 10k. The rear sprocket and front engine mount is losing its paint now. It has an intermitent RH indicator flashing fault but it does not bother me much. Some under paint corrosion on the rear sub-frame and engine covers.

About 5k out of rubber, change oil/filter at 2.5k and uses no oil. Uses a set of EBC front pads, in town, about 3k but rears 10k ish. No problem with the headers but I have a Remus can.

IMO my Uly is no better or worse than most modern bikes.
