Sorry we were a bit late to join the full action but the weather looked uncertain in Redhill until quite late... Not many left when we arrived.

We did not mix in too much to start with, grumpy-cold-wet girlfirend wanted lunch when we arrived!

I promise I will get out of bed earlier and actually get to talk to more people next time!

:D Well what a great end to a fantastic two weeks Buelling :D took me just over 2800miles to get to Sammys from leaving home via France Belgium Holland Germany Czech Republic Austria Germany and France again :D Cr never missed a beat for the whole of the journey ......was great to meet up with everybody again and yesterday was about the worst weather i found in the last two weeks ......roads were definitely the worst with snarl ups on the M27 and M3 and onto the A34....once onto the A34 though good progress was made and managed to cruise at about 90 95 most of the way up north and Kay even managed to stay right behind me all the way home ......only other delay was the new roadworks on the A46 towards Newark.
Total milage when i got home was 3082 :D can confirm fuel range on the Cr is from 160 miles to over 200 per tank full in fact when i refuelled yesterday after 150 miles I still had 5 ltrs left even travelling at a steady 90+ 8-)

Somewhat ironic, but as I wheeled out my XB for a ride west to avoid the rain I thought; hey the wheel bearings feel a bit tight. Then I noticed a slightly deflated looking rear tyre, which I could push in with my fingers. :? Then I noticed the small silver head of 'Nerg the Nail' buried in the centre of the tyre.

So I took my Yam SRX out for a run, but would have been a pain going all the way to New Milton on the little single.

Oh well, it's about time to do the XB rear wheel bearings anyway (9K). Good to see that those who made it to Sammy's enjoyed the day! ;)

Thanks to Chris and Jane for organising this, once again.
They even managed to get us a discounted rate for the museum.

I'm sure Mich thought I was taking the piss when I told him my little story about the BSA Bantam and German rocket technology, so this is for him:

Nice to see everybody.

Nope. I swear I believed every word you said. Honest Govn. :hehe: 8-)
