The lady at the Haywain gave me the number of the Red Lion, 01790752271, unfortunately they are fully booked (wedding). May not be the same Red Lion as CJ mentioned in a previous thread.

Very sad news :( .... I've contacted the Haywain to express our deepest sympathies.

We'll see if we can come up with somewhere else suitable and post details later this week.

Timo - that's fantastic news about you coming over from Finland, it'd be good to see you again.

Yeah sad news indeed. :(
Let us know where you all plan to stay and book me a room as well.
Timo is looking to book a room with me as well as we had such a good time last year.
Remember Timo no poking me in the back this year.

As you may have read elsewhere, the Haywain Motel has ceased trading because the owner has passed away. Those that have booked with the Haywain for Em's Day should have already been informed.

I've managed to arrange alternative reasonably priced accommodation at The Bull Hotel, in Horncastle. This is approximately 8 to 10 miles from East Kirkby. (I keep typing the 'Buell Hotel' for some strange reason )

I've booked a double room for Jane and I, and a twin for Norrie and Timo, for both Friday and Saturday night, 17th & 18th July.

At the time of writing The Bull Hotel still has the following rooms available for both nights:

3 double/twin rooms @ £70.00 per room B&B.
1 single room @ £40 per room B&B.

If you wish to book a room please call Cheryl on 01507 523 331 and quote 'Mr Jessop - UKBEG'.

Hi Roz, I'm glad you've managed to book a room at the Buell Hotel ...

I spent a hour this morning searching around for a place with enough rooms available on those dates and that didn't cost too much :ill:....

Chris your a star as always. :yup:
I had visions of us sleeping in the Lancaster.
I would have probably ended up sleeping in the bomb bay and someone sleeping in the cockpit would turn over in the middle of the night and I'd be deposited onto the tarmac.

We can put people up, room for a couple in the house, then theres the garage, then the horsebox, then plenty of room in the garden for camping. We are about 30 miles away and will be going via the Barnetby top little thief for breakfast, if any one needs a place to stay over you will be welcome. :D :D

Our spare room's available for a couple, or two v close friends ;) ..... might even tidy the garage enough to get a bike in.

Close to the north end of the Humber Bridge - again, we'll be meeting the usual suspects at Little Thief, Barnetby/Elsham.
