Just a quick hello from a former 1150GSA rider who now rides an HP2 and is now looking for a Uly to compliment BMWs 'monster kuh' enduro bike!

I've always liked Buells ever since my friend showed up on a 'Nuclear Orange' one a good few years ago and when I first saw the Uly thought mmmm' one day......!

So now i've made the decision to get one i'm loking for a good 07 which i'm very much looking forward to!

Welcome to the Forum. I have a 57 Uly and love it, only thing is try one first, the seat is really high.

I'm 6 foot 4 so the height isn't such a problem on the Uly, my HP2 Enduro is a 'lot' taller than my old 1150GS Adventure. I had it upside down crossing a river at Glenbrittle Isle of Skye a couple of weeks ago so i'll be keeping the Uly for roads and the odd gravel track on the farm.....!(i'm a real farmer aswell)

I'm lookng at a couple of Uly's at the moment, there's a nice one in Glasgow with low miles and luggage/heated grips etc and a 'bare' one in Edinburgh also low miles, both at maindealers who seem keen to get my 06 F650GS in as part/ex but i'll keep looking around though.........!

I'm in Edinburgh and it would be great to meet up some time.
There seems to be quite a few Buellers in and around Edinburgh now so we could maybe try and get a regular local meet organised.

Mmmm, my 'trade ins' not looking so good at the moment so the Uly may have to wait a 'wee' bit........!

So i'll have to ride my HP2 Enduro untill I can sell my 06 BMW F650GS

I'm sure it'll be well worth the wait though.

Just bought a 57 plate orange Uly with full luggage and heated grips and only 1350miles on her..........!

I don't think i've ever looked forward to getting a bike as much as this one before and i've only ever owned BMs so the Buell is certainly different. First time I saw one I knew i'd have one!

Now i'm thinking for a good test run I might take her up to Norway's Nordkapp then over to the Russian Border at Grense Jacobselve then home through northern Finland, Sweden and Denmark next May. It'll be cold though as the last two times I did that trip it was below zero at the Nordkapp and it was snowing at the Russian border.........!
