Sorry Ash, I'd have thought there were £500 Derbis all over the marketplace .... sold by spoilt upgraders ....

He used to live up the road from me in Bramhall, I found him to be quite an arrogant man on the few occasions I met him. He was a mentor to my friend Barry Ayres who rode speedway at Belle-Vue, amongst others, and he even took him on a tour of New Zealand...

Cagiva Mito 125`s are ok and look the K9`s testicles(Mini Ducati)

I suspect you're bang on with that summary, he was an aloof perfectionist as a rider, but as an old geezer with nothing to prove, but books to sell, he's charming. lOl
