A pretty graph always wins the argument!
No argument to be won. I posted that to show the difference between two different exhausts on essentially the same engine.

Thanks, but I am not doubting big bore exits having ridden a City X with a Buell race can (about the same as standard).
As I say, the 1200 seems to be quite a different motor to use in some ways. It depends on what you want your engine to do. My Tubbs modified lacks the bottom end of my Stealth, but seems to make very good power as revs climb, and it has a puny standard single 42mm exit.
Ever thought that the fuelling (and ignition) may need to be optimised for the exhaust?

The Stealth is so strong in the midrange 5th pulls like the standard can did in 4th. Just ask my girlfriend, I had to buy her a harness to hold on.
OK, PM me her phone number

I will quantify the effect of my experiments (have to make it yet
) by 'seat of the pants' and am only planning to work at improving what I have, not planning to dyno my motor. The effects of the three different cans used on my 9 are real enough and appear to concur with stuff I have read? If I fit a sleeved taper into the inlet of my silencer, it will be ground to a push fit so could be easily changed or adjusted. Streamlining any step in the exhaust system is unlikely to hurt performance, but too big a step in the path where you don't want it is not good. I bet your TI Force is nicely contoured throughout Pash. Hence the full retail price.
It has some big steps in diameter in the headers, there are some cones that look a bit like this:
These are pulse converters to try to reduce the amplitude of the wave transmitted from the other cylinder which arrives at the exhaust valve of the cylinder in question.

Anyway, you can have fun experimenting at less cost than having a bespoke pipe made. It may unlock the high rpm potential my Stealth seems to lack!
Or it may just be crap, but at least I will have tried!
Again, what is your fuelling like up there? I think you need these fitted:
so you can look at your AFR. They (the headers) are owned by UKBEG but are dossing at my house...

I have an Albert reverso can on my 1125R and the noise is just unbelievable.
Guys at work said it sounds like a helicopter when I started it up in the multi story car park. It's a bit quieter if the db eater is in.
Tell me about it, I spent about 5 hours in the dyno room with one... Albert666 was there too, but he is well 'ard!
