I was just looking at the Facebook gallery and found a pic of me (eric) sitting on the back of a Buell piloted by Norm at the NEC. Is anyone going this year? My bro' suggested going on Saturday the 27th.

Well, I'll probably be there on driving down on 27th, stopping overnight and flying home at 12.45 on Sunday. If anyone's about, see you there! At least I've booked the flight, but I've done that before, but I'm more stable these days!

Greetings, Eric.

Not sure if I'll be going this year, I've swapped horse-power for Norm-power and I've tickets to the Cycle Show instead.

If I do come up to the NEC, it'll be on the 27th. :yup:

I've still got my push bikes. I'd rather that they rot in the shed than put them on ebay and have some scrote buy them for £300! The time and money put in to them is worth too much to me. I did see a thing once where you bolt on a sub frame that turns your 2 wheeler in to a trike. But, I kind of think that trying to get the weight of my mountain bike down to that of a road bike, and then doubling its weight with a lump of scaffolding is philosophically unsound. That and I'm not sure I could balance on that Selle Italia saddle!

Selle Italia... nice! :worthy: I've gone Prologo on mine, mostly because someone on another forum was selling it cheap.

I'm seriously considering it now Eric, I've no need to be there, but it's be good to get a proper crowd there again.

Fartfest afterwards, anyone?

Found something I liked and put one on each of my bikes for years. Best thing is no saddle sores with different saddles rubbing different bits. Must be leather with titanium rails! Probably shaves over a gram for every tenner spent - great value for money.

Just confirmed with my bro that we'll definitely be there. Fartfest seems like a great idea, but as Mal is driving, I'll need to check with him.

P.S. You've no need to be there?!

If it was my car, I'd offer you a lift! The more the better.

Is Victoria Pendlton going to be there? If so I'll join you!

It's fine I will be getting the train down and then getting a lift.
Glad to see you back on the forum Eric. :D

Who? I've never heard of her and even if she was going, her attendance wouldn't influence my decision.

Much...
