I went to Milan in 2007 and walked my legs off for 2 days

There's a huge posse going over from UKMOC in a few days. They have other events planned including a trip to the Ducati factory in Balogna, so it's going to be a hectic trip. I've had my fair share of riding in Europe this season, with a 2200mile trip to Misano in June on the Trike.

It's better to ride to Como (doable in a day) leave the bike at the hotel, then get the train into Milan. You can then wander around without all the clobber and have a drink or ten. ;)
Been there twice. Excellent.

We flew out from Gatwick last time, and booked a couple of nights in a hotel in Milan

OK folks, just a public announcement here .... Alitalia & Compagnia Aerea Italiana staff are staging one-day strikes on Nov 5th, 15th & 26th. Allegedly just flight crews, but may have an effect on ground crews too. Expect some delay :?
