......that'll be theX2086.1AM kit

When I put the 1125 away last weekend, the clutch was fine. Got the bike out today and the clutch felt very light. Put it into gear and there was a sickening crunch, worked the lever a couple of times and there was no clutch at all :x
Took the reliable Ducati (hydraulic clutch lOl ) out instead 8-)
The 1125 has probably done less than 1k miles since the kit was installed and I can't understand why the fluid has drained while the bike stood still :?
Fingers crossed the diaphram is Dot 4 resistant
The Warranty expired in March so I guess I'm stuffed there, anyone know the part numbers for the piston, sleeve and spherical nut seals in the 'upgrade' kit since I only have the '08 parts book?

have a look on badweb. theres a kit available, but some reckon the individual parts work out cheaper, and quicker to get

heres one

http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/m ... 1288411786

or

http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/m ... 1287699435

bottom of the second link, froggy lists some part no's

X1086.3AM HYDRAULIC PISTON KIT Retail Price:$80.45
CR0001.3AM PISTON LINING, 22X17,8X4,0 Retail Price:$18.70
CR0002.3AM PISTON LINING, 41X36,8X4,0 Retail Price:$21.80
X0087.3AM SLEEVE Retail Price:$87.70
CF0007.1AMA O-RING DIN 3771-45X2-N Retail Price:$1.69 (2 needed, $3.38 total)

My total comes out to $212.03, while the entire kit is:
X2086.1AM HYDRAULIC PISTON & CYLINDER KIT Retail Price:$232.00

So yes, you save $20 buying every separate, and thats hoping I didn't miss a piece.

The prices on parts do fluctuate, so sometimes kits of a bunch of parts can be cheaper or more expensive than individual parts.

Adam, it may be worth speaking to HDB, surely they should warranty the repair for a further 2 years ?

If that fails you could try trading standards ...

... in the meantime I'll just wait for mine to go too.

IIRC there's a thread on BWB about a couple of failures of the replacement kit.

Surely an investigation as to why it failed and a solution engineered would be better...

Tis only a piston and seal...
