What a fantastic way to spend an evening, the Lancaster never fails to impress, especially at night with the headers glowing red and spitting out red hot embers.

The firework display was pretty good too.....

Made even better by the great company and of course the Parkin, which went down a treat with everyone. Thanks as always to CJ & Jane for organising this.

Alex got some video of the Lancaster which he is going to put on Youtube, I will post a link later.

Att: you miserable git lOl lOl , I was going to be your friend as well :ner: . If you don't want to park your car on grass/mud/cow shit, you may need to consider moving to a different county lOl lOl ............ or getting a land rover.

Here it is, simply the best fireworks in the country last night 8-)
What you can't capture in a still photo is the shower of red sparks dancing in the prop wash. Superb.

Thanks as ever to Jane for the superb parkin - and to everyone for being there.
Att, you are a pillock mate lOl

Here's a slideshow of the highlights, Harry will have some far better ones of course :D

Thanks to all the UKBEG members we met up with last night - the Brown party, Meanwell party, Elliot party and of course, the Smarty party :D - you all helped to make it a great evening.

A cold, starry night ensured that the Aviation Centre had their biggest ever attendance for the fireworks display.

Jane's pleased you liked her parkin - it does go down a treat with a hot drink. Between us we didn't manage to finish it all off so after the fireworks Jane offered pieces to various people who were stood near us. Coincidentally this included a couple who'd visited Em's Day for the first time this year on their Aprilia. They spoke about the event in glowing terms, which was pleasing.

The Red Lion pub looked after us with their usual superb hospitality. The open real fire in the bar was most welcoming when we returned last night.

A few of Jane's pictures from yesterday afternoons display, which was held in beautiful weather:
