I think we all need to remember that the 1125's are putting out around 50% more power than any of the aircooled models and that power is going through the same size belt as before...........So I would say that nobody will be seeing high milages from the 1125 belts if they use that power to the full.
Must admit the belt was my only concern for my trip to the czech republic in August but did the best thing and took a spare belt with me.

more to the point...nothing to do with bhp, more like stones and or flints, or anything that gets between the belt and pulley...
