The Assen track weekend has now been confirmed as May 13th to 15th. See Dutch Ducati Club News for details.

This means that our UKBEG Buell Polarsirkel Challenge will take place sometime between Monday 16th and Sunday 29th May. Firm details will be announced in January 2011.

I like the idea of the European trip. I had been planning one myself to Vilnius in the summer but the one here sounds fun too.

Vilnius is a wonderful city, worked there for a while helping them prepare for entry into the EC. Keep meaning to go back for a break and to see how much its changed.

What is the Northernmost destination?? The The Arctic Circle Centre,
Tromso, Hammerfest, or something closer? It looks to be about 1,400-1,600 miles from Assen, depending on destination.

I'm up for it, I'm just working on logistics.

GO GET'EM

Joe - our plan is to travel up to the Norwegian Arctic Circle visitor centre on the E6, the objective of the Buell Challenge and obtaining sponsorship for Em's Charity, and then continue up to Fauske or Bodo, I don't think we'll go much further north than that.

In January I will issue full details of accommodation and a 'suggested' route.

As previous UKBEG Challenges, participants are free to choose their own route and travel at their own pace.

Well the Uzipio District is still as silly as it always was. 'Independence Day' on the 1st April is always fun. Not allowed in unless you have a passport or promise to have a good time :-)

Steve - UKBEG has an event in Wales:

April 10th, Sunday.
UKBEG Buell Meet-n-Ride - Snowdonia, North Wales.

Also, Nick (Pash) has planned some events for the South West, which should be convenient for members based in South Wales.
