I've got a Maplins sound meter but it always reads differently to the ones they use at tracks
Make sure the motor is hot before testing, it seems to knock the odd DB off ;)

I would love to go for a thrash round caldwell but there is more likelyhood of Att becoming a mild mannered reverand than my S1WL passing a 105db limit :sad1:

Cadwell in March? It'll be effin freezing for those that camp there the night before. Was bad enough in April last year, kipped in the back of the hire van and kept my mate awake all night as my teeth wouldn't stop chattering.

I'm still interested though.

Edited to add

If it was in the summer I'd be reaching for the credit card to pay the deposit now. Cadwell is horrible in the wet but fantastic in the dry.

Skipped straight to the end thread, interested of course  noise will be an issue for the majority me thinks, the Hotrod was tested at Snetterton a couple of years ago at 120db  I think Cadwell is owned by the same group, they tested mine by holding a decimeter a meter away at a 45degree angle,he then shook his head and said "no way mate" may be he just got out of bed the wrong side that morning, but the only track I've got on in England is Donington on a noisy day, anyway I'm sure Ican get enough interest to make the numbers up ;)

Ronnie, je wilt naar de berg te doen?

iPhone 4 has an app for that and a music friend said it was fairly accurate.
