I had two of them, great fun. Not many cars that can boast inboard disc brakes

They did a test a while back and the 2cv was more arrow dynamic when going backwards so someone did turn the whole of the insides around. It gave etc mpg etc by doing this. (one of those odd things I remember).

I have removed all those that had drum brakes, rear inboards, vehicles with common chassis or manufactured under licence from Citroen. What a car, what a pedigree lOl

My Alfasud definitely had inboard discs, as the engine leaked oil on the output seals, the brakes were shite and there was the smell of burning oil when I applied the brakes at speed.

Might well of been. I like the Alfasud "Design For Service" principle, where I could change the plugs by going in through the inner wheel arch... :run:

Indeed........ Changed a headlamp bulb on my daughters Ford Ka: Jack up front of car, wheel off, inner wheel arch out, loads of fiddling, cuts and bruises from accessing an aperture which is smaller than my hand, and I can't see what the fook I'm doing...... well over an hours work.

Change a headlamp bulb on my 2cv, no tools needed and 5 minutes work.

Progress..... :sad1:
