I do believe that the Ully rear end I picked up earlier this week was the very one that you was going to use ;) ...just need to decide whether to try to mount rearpegs from the subframe or from the main frame as on the Ullys :D ......I'm sure the subframe is doable as there is a guy on badweb that has fitted a 12s subframe by just manufacturing some top brackets...............looks like the shock side one was a lot more straight forward than the left hand one.

I was going to try and do it as the ully so I could fit all the xt panniers and top box, let me know how you get on, I'm pretty interested, the ully is a great bike but not quick enough, 1125 would rectify that.

Cheers mate :yup: gives a good insight to the shape of brackets needed.......not sure if the XBs subframe is the same fitting as the ully one but will definitely need something similar.

I think to carry luggage like a Ully does it would mean having rear pegs frame mounted as I've noticed that some of the ully pannier brackets are also supported from there so as to spread the load.

Note the Germermans say that those adapters are only for solo use so something similar may need to be beefier for Uly back end with panniers etc.
You will also definately need some of those heel guards that CJ is selling too :D

Yep i translated that myself last night...I suspect it is partly due to the angle between the subframe itself and the mount on the frame........maybe new subframe rails would be a better idea.
