2CV had disk brakes? I'm pretty sure I changed brake pads in a front drum brake in the early 80's and that was such a PITA, that I decided to get a R4 F6 instead.

The early ones had drums all around, later ones had disc fronts.

My '82 had the discs. My most memorable moment was a ruptured brake pipe which failed coming down the hill in to Betws-y-Coed. Foot went to the floor but I managed to stop it on the handbrake.......just! The handbrake is remarkably good as it has its own set of pads working on the front discs.

Lovely cars.
