Doesn't look like I'll be able to make this now - I had MatBat around last night so he could have a look at/sit on my XB so in preparation I went out to the garage and fired it up without any problems. When he arrived I tried to do the same but now it's only firing on the rear cylinder DOH!!!!!

I'll have a bit of a look round to see if I can see anything obvious but can't make any promises at this stage.

You've fouled a plug ;)

If you don't get there early, you'll have no chance of getting parked up in the square, even on a bike.
Mick's Burger Bar at 0830 am sounds about right. :yup:

Mick, if you're gonna get there nice and early how about you rope off a nice big area for UkBeg?! I'll bring the bacon sandwiches!

Yeah that's my first guess but it's finding the time to investigate and of course half stripping the bike down just to have a look not to mention special tools just to get the ignition lead off and the plug out.

Lets hope it's something simple!

Many thanks for letting me take a look at your XB, the loudest bike I've ever heard in a small space!

My money is on a lead falling off or a plug.

My pleasure not forgetting that it's twice as loud when both cylinders are functioning.

Good to hear that Tony. 8.30am at Portsdown Hill looks good to me, depending on the weather. Too icy to ride anywhere this week. My S1 is on the Optimate diet. lOl

Yep it was a fouled plug - it all seems to be fine now so I should be ok for this.

I've always wanted to go to this, but Boxing Day is a bit of a no-no for me.
I don't understand how you boys manage to wangle passes for the Christmas period.

It's traditional, it's what baby Jesus would have wanted.
