WAs messing about the other day...

Would love to do a custom Ulysses one day... but my skills are limited...

Would like something like this...

Basically a Ulysses for height/ride position, Lightning subframe and seat for that shorter 'street-fighter look (no doubt they're not compatible though!), underhung mirrors and no screen and loose the 'beak' to clean up the front, blacked out wheels, engine and exhaust, pearl white tank and flyscreen...

Basically a chopped, taller STT

Mmmm....

And original for comparison...

This is what makes Buell XBs great, it's like having a giant Meccano set...

Yeah I know - loved messing about with my last CityX

Just wish I had the know-how to achieve what I'd like to.

Doesnt look to difficult to achieve, there's nothing to be fabricated, i bet most of the parts can be bought from ebay and bolted straight on with minimal modification!

Yeah, not sure about a Lightning subframe being the same width at the point where it needs to join the Uly's main frame

Does anyone know if the Lightning seat will fit the Uly frame?

As I recall - The real Meccano went bust a long time ago. I wonder if that's where Erik went wrong. :coat:
