Well hoping the weather stays fine for the next few days as kick off is tomorrow.
The roads should be quiet as quite a few will probably be watching that rubbish on tv.

Would be good to see some of you down here. Please let me know if you're coming and will arrange to meet up.

Look forward to seeing some of you there.
:sun: :yup:

Well it was typical Paignton Festival weather again this weekend. Didn't make it for Friday set-up but Saturday was grey and had some hard showers through-out the afternoon. Sunday was cold at 9.00, wind blowing in hard from the sea and skies were dull and grey again. bike jumps were cancelled on Sunday and banners blew over. one short light shower was all though, so bikes were out in number. Had to buy a silly hat to stop the constant gale from giving me ear ache, standing around for 7 hours talking.
some expensive bikes and crazy customs but didn't see one that i would prefer to the 1125R i arrived on, young love eh? :D
The only negative comments i got were from Harley/Buell fans.
Strange i thought, but hey I still love it.
....even though a small pool of oil appeared on the garage floor after the run back.
anyone recommend a good Buell mechanic in the SW. ?

Tubbs is the nearest in Poole.
Failing that I can recommend a very good bike mechanic called Brian Loram in Newton Abbot. :yup:

Thanks Ant54, its good to get advice from people in the club who have first-hand experience, rather than find out when you have made a mistake, when it's too late. I've always believed that trying to help each other is the basic foundation of any owners club, so its good to have people like you around. Cheers :yup:

You're welcome mate.
Let me know if you need Brians number. And if you do go to see him ask to see his restored water kettle (Suzuki GT750) it's bloody lovely! :yup:
