After reading about backfiring causes on the Mikuni tuning manual,having the pipe so short now could explain the banging on the overun but it didn't do it when i first put it all back together

The endcan is f##king short now though

Should have left it anyway as metmachex said it would fit

The endcan really only lost this much but looks alot shorter as the angled pipe at the end was also shortened and turned down slightly

Yep but when things are already short that inch lost can be all the difference as to whether it's any good at it's job anymore
