 Post subject: Uly Tank Bag

Any ideas on a suitable tank bag for my Uly. Off on the continent fof a couple of longish rides later in the year. A tank could bre just the thing!

You can get the Buell one. I've got one - using it for first time tonight going down south actually. Seems to fit pretty well.

Just search for a tankbag for plastic tanks - lots of them are magnetic which won't work with the XBs

I'm currently using Hein Gericke, touareg tank bag. Plenty of room and a reasonable waterproof cover which does not disintegrate. I have used this on two trips to Europe and for quite a few months commuting daily. It came with magnets and straps for plastic tanks.

I use the Buell one on my 1125.....suprising what you can get inside it but on th e1125 can only use it without it expanded if i want to see the clocks. Also don't bother with the raincover ....just get an inner waterproof roll neck bag to put inside it. Map pocket is about as good as useless though because it slopes away from the rider so is nearly impossible to see.

If you cant get a Buell one look at the Buell specific Famsa one on windingroads.co.uk, top kit.fits the airbox cover properly.
