Also, I forgot to thank MrT for leading the way from the south and Panther for getting us lost in Hendon!

Leading the way was a pleasure. Great day out today in early spring sunshine and meeting up with friends for the first time in a while. :D

Glad you all had a good time. just rub it in why don't you, what with all your 'awesome' 'faultlessly running' 1125s :sun: haven't ridden mine since the minus 7 boxing day meet at Wickham. :headbang:

What a great day it's been, was so good to see you all again! :yup:
Thanks to Chris and Jane for doing all the organising, you even sorted out the great weather..... what a team. :worthy:
Thanks also must go to Steve for lending me his trusted Uly for the event, It ran flawlessly Steve, and is safely tucked up with an Enfield and a certain CR as I type. ;)

Looking forward to the next event!, and hope Chris's weather machine is working as well as it did today :sun

What a fabulous weekend we've had :P...

A 467 mile round trip in dry weather with both the Ulysses and Jane's Guzzi running faultlessly. Yesterday was just about as good as it gets at this time of year - clear blue skies and warm(ish) sunshine. It was the perfect way to start the riding season proper. We stopped for lunch at the Aviation Centre in East Kirkby, Lincolnshire and then rode across the Fens to Black Bear in Newmarket before chasing the sunset riding towards our motel in Luton.

We would like to thank everyone who attended today's UKBEG meet at Hendon. We counted 27 Buells in total. It was great to see so many familiar faces and a few new ones.

In the end we didn't have to pay for parking which saved a lot of hassle obtaining tickets and trying to display them on the bikes. Common sense prevailed and the staff on duty at Hendon today made us very welcome and put us in great spot adjacent to the main building and not too far from the restaurant.

We took plenty of pictures and will post a selection tomorrow.

Yes thanks CJ for arranging this one, and always a welcoming smile for the weary travellers on arrival from you and Jane. :D

Not many takers from here in the west, but it was a long and cold run to our first tea break at Bicester. Or didn't we thaw out until the bacon sarnies at the Ace? Such a transformation on the way home though with sunshine all the way via Princess Riss. Thame, Bicester, Chipping Norton etc. 8-)

Shame I missed albert666, if not his bike, maybe next time? ;)

Sorry guys...we completely missed this one! We spend a day on the Isle of Wight that day.
