Photo update of M2 mods as of yesterday. I'm nearly finished thanks to several long weekends. Just final painting to sort on tail fairing, wiring to tail lamp and indicators, a new numberplate and repair the shagged rear brake caliper. Hope to make more progress tomorrow if the weather improves.

Final update for now. Got it back together this weekend and hope to put it in for it's MOT next Saturday. Then all I need is some road tax and I'm back on the road.

Back on the road again!

Looks great - the new rear end really changes the whole look of the bike - IIRC one of the members here ( millsy ?) did the same and he kept the old lard arse seat with a Ventura rack attached to swap back for touring - the best of both worlds

Thanks for the feedback guys - much appreciated. Yes I've also kept the original subframe, seat and tail piece to use as a bolt on unit. I think it would be possible to swap it all over in about 1/2 an hour with practice. Looking forward to putting some miles in on her soon.

Buell passed it's MOT yesterday and got my Tax today so I'm now road legal. Looking forward to a local blast on it this evening after work. Gearchange conversion is working way better than I expected. The neutral light/switch is definately fooked though, with the idiot lamp staying lit most of the time. Just like the Mcdonalds adverts says - I'm Lovin' it [insert massive grin smiley]
