Hi Ant,
I am sure we will both be hit on the nose and moved by an administrator...
Mine is a 2009 Vegas 8 Ball (with the earlier 100 cu inch engine and the rounded headlamp).
You do get used to the riding style quite quickly - if you want scary - try a Victory Hammer with the 280 rear. Strangest cornering experience - but there's one at Blade in Swindon with the pegs worn down - if you are feeling so inclined, you can be so inclined!
At 100 mph (on a private road, officer!
) it's ok. But it's a naked cruiser and it's happier at 70-80 mph. I have the touring seats (rider and pillion fitted) so it's very comfy. It vibrates - but then its a 1634cc V twin. If I wanted smooth, I'd have bought an IL4!
I did try it with one of Victory's own screens - it was a very unpleasant experience with weird turbulence effects. I am usually the first in the queue when it comes to volunteering to be sucked off - but not at 70mph on an A road through Wiltshire....
