 Post subject: Timed out?

FFS,just spent a fair while writing a reply to a post,only to find out I'd been timed out!
All my writing gone and it does'nt flow easily from brainbox to fingertips so I'm pretty pissed off......deep breath.....what can I do in future?

If writing a long winded article best to do it on your pc in word and then copy and paste onto here ;-)

Pooter settings? If you set your email program to check for mail every 5 minutes, that will show a more or less constant (enough) activity so your session should not "time out."

IIRC. :?

Or write on Word, as noted.

Maybe if you occasionally click on "preview" while writing a long post, it will remind the forum that you're still there so it won't end your session...? (Although might be an idea to highlight and cut/copy what you've written first in case it goes wrong lOl )
