 Post subject: Plugs ?

I've come across a brand new box of 12 plugs in me shed...
"OO err missus "!!
( A job lot o bits bought years ago) ...Anyway I was just wandering if they are compatable with any Buell,can't find much about em on tinterweb cos there discontinued ,but they are the same size thread an reach an a bit posh lookin .They are NGK Gold Palladium D8EV . Does anyone know anythin about em ?

Or shall I just bung em in an try it.? :twisted:

I suppose any problem they might cause would be a heat one which would lead to oil loss so you could see if they're okay that way by seeing how much oil you burn. If they do work you're sorted for at least ten years for plugs. I suppose if they work and you like the ride then they work but then if the threads are a bit different it'll cost you... Try them both into a nut, the ones you're using and the ones you're going to try. If they both fit, try the new ones.

Yep that was my worry really, heat /oil .I got standard 10R12 plugs in at the mo an there average ,but I ferkin hate buyin anything from harley ,(rip off B stards !)
an as I say I just forgot I had these ones

They wont fit will they? B8EV is a plug for a 350LC IIRC...

D8EV Pash not B8EV ,dunno if it makes any odds though cos there still about 6/7 quid a piece !!

I've only bought one set of (HD) plugs in eight years/ 25000 miles (because they looked rusty) so I don't worry too much about Willie G. getting rich off me. ;)
