In 8 weeks I'll be in America getting married for the second time.

If you want to buy a drive belt from American Sportsbike (~£107 vs ~£200 here) and have it posted to my parent in laws' place I'll bring it back in my suitcases then post it to you within the UK.

Figure an extra £12 for postage to their US address then for me to send it on to you in the UK?

What do you think?
I imagine the max I could do would be 10 just for luggage restrictions etc.

Register your interest here, first come first served.

Not sure how they are about credit cards and registered addresses - might have to sort out a specific paypal account or something. I'll speak to Al over there if there is good interest here.

Don't you think there will be some hassle with UK customs?

Customs at Edinburgh airport consists of a red telephone you call if you have drugs. They have a special bench to sit on where you wait the hour it will take them to come through from Glasgow.

But yeah, I suppose I could get stopped by customs and have to pay import taxes and VAT... folks would have to cough up the extra if that happened though I'll do my best to avoid it.

Mrs YGH is long suffering and understanding, else she wouldn't be Mrs YGH!
She's used to me and my bike (and the guitars/amps) - went down to Bristol via Wales a few weeks back, chucked her down the road and made her ride 1000 miles as pillion on an XB in a weekend. Ouchie!

Interseted in one for my 02 XB9R. But as you will be buying them in good old USA and I'll be buying it from you that makes my belt second hand and tax free! if that does not wash then as my home address is not in UK or GB then I wont have to pay uk tax  :yup:

When would you need the money for this?

Personal cheque or paypal?
