So a mate on a zx6r and myself went for a little ride out on Saturday - from Rivington Barn 8.30 am across over the tops at Belmont A675 just into Preston picked up the B6230 then the A59 from that it was A65 to Devils Bridge.

The back along the A65 to the B6255 Harwes, upto Kirkby Stephen then onto the A685 round to Appleby in Westmorland pickup the A66 to Helbeck we went left then to the Forest and Frith all the way up to Alston and then down to Penrith.

I think at one point I saw a sign which read 1965ft above sea level

on the way back we jumped on the motorway to Kirby Longsdale and then the same route pritty much all the way back to mine slowing down as it was getting dark and we both had a dark visor on - getting home just after 8ish.

I filled up 3 times and the 1125 was a joy to ride only a couple of times the rear stepped out as I way coming out bends and going over bumps in the road it shook its head in joy with its wheel up in the air. I loved every min of it and the airbox and exhaust was a excellant note to listen to all day.

Cheers Ray

Sounds great, I too had a great ride on my 1125 on Sunday, rear stepped right out on the first roundabout as I forgot I had just put on a new rear, but the rest of the day was superb, with many a wheelie :)

I love this bike

No, I crashed and had the swingarm polished to remove all the scratches. Plus I do like a bit of bling :)
