Need some advice please.
Bike is travelling a little rough on the road, riding wise.
It seems to be ok on smooth surfaces but feels i'm running on nobblies on certain surfaces, like running over a road of ball bearings.
It's not that bad, just remember the ride used to be a little smoother last year.
Tyre pressures ok and i've changed the rear wheel bearings.
The rear shock is stock and set up as per manual to my riding weight.
Bike XB9S.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Most of the bearings are new-
Headstock,Swingarm and both wheels.
Anyway :maz: got me thinking about the front isolator.
I fitted one of the Palmer spacers and this could be the cause?.
I'll try riding it without next time and see.
There is still 8mm gap in the bolt so that should be ok for now i think.
Also silly me i set up the suspension to 80 kilos which is just above my body weight,i didn't think to include an extra 10 kilos for gear
It set up to 90k now,i'll see how it goes.

I'm going to change the shock,i ride a lot of b roads and i'm sure i could do with a better one than the stock so if anyone has for sale for an XB let me know.
Second hand AST or a Hagon :)

Thanks for the replies :yup:

Do not buy a Hagon  ........and most Palmer Products are crap IMO

Do yourself a favour and invest in a new AST that's built to suit you and the way you ride

I'm similarly impressed with mine on the S2. I think the Uly would benefit too. I'm running out of rebound adjustment on the standard shock and it still feels a bit floaty.

I like mine on the S1, I have the damping wound right off for a plush ride... Do that with anyone's stock shock and it would be a pogo stick...
