Well ............proved it isn't the CPS ....managed 80 miles tonight ....didn't cut dead but did it's other trick of just before stopping feeling underpowered and then firing totally at random backfiring through both the exhaust and intake before petering out ....left 10 mins ....threw it in the floor lol and then started up normally and rode the last 15 miles home with no problem again.
Log looked very strange this time so hopefully those that understand these things may be able to tell me which part to set fire to lOl

You've swapped or been through everything electrical but have you looked at the injectors ? swap em over see if you get the same afv when it conks out. Worth putting them in an ultrasonic bath. Had one stick occasionally on a car, got them cleaned, end of problem.
Did you get round to swaping the fuel pump with your spare ?

Maybe a good thing to try, but does not explain why the CPS signal drops out. I am waiting for the implementation of a slave harness.

What kind of AFVs do other X1s have with the same maps as Muffin?

Tried a complete spare fuel tank and pump with exactly the same outcome........I have got a spare throttle body complete with injectors and TPS ....unknown condition though.

Not the maps we are wondering about mate but would be interested to hear what the AFV is running at on other X1's with race ECU .....as Pash mentioned before maybe they all run high AFV's with these maps.

the afv on mine was 117% when the iat was near the intake and 110% with iat behind head light with standard race maps.
i think 130 is too high, in leaking seal or dodgy fuel supply territory.
Pop them spare injectors in and give it a go.

Just because I could I fitted a different ETS today so went out Logging again this evening AFV was 117 when i started logging at 40miles again....bike running Ok on the same route as normal thrashed it through Reevsby again and then shortly after at 76miles engine cut as normal...... just prior to cutting out bikefelt underpowered
...got a better log this time and it shows a definite lack of CPS signal s I coasted to a stop with the bike in gear and engine turning over........... tried restarting and engine spun over fine but no sign of life as I did this I opened and closed the throttle to make sure I got the trace from the TPS ......looking at the log for ths restart there is absolutely no sign of any engine revs being picked up at all.

i replaced the cps on mine last year, noticed that when connecting the three pin plug together that one of the pins was pushed back out of the connector due to its locating tab not holding it in place resulting in a no start. i have also had the same on one female pin on the ecm connector.
Just clutching straws again kev. :yup:
