We went up for the weekend and camped. Had a great time although managed to miss Kevmean and Harry due to not hearing my phone and thinking he was going to be there today, as opposed to Saturday... :oooops: Next time eh, Kev??

Met up with Richie and HLZbells (Darren) today. Nice to meet Richie again (as always) and nice to meet Darren for the first time. Lovely guy. :D

Saw your bike on the stand Foby, but wasn't sure which one you were, so didn't come across and speak to anyone. Really must make the effort next time...sorry. :oooops:

Saw another Buell in the campsite and, as he was loading his bike up to ride home, I decided to go and speak to him. His name is Duncan and he may well be joining the group now. Has an 09 plate City X bought new from Black Bear.

Hi all,

I also have been at the BMF all weekend with the Newmarket Motorcycle Club. It's been really good, the weather, while a little windy and overcast at times, was good too, non of those showers they were promising.
I was there on my RE Bullet as the Buell is off the road at the moment awaiting a new Regulator. :(

It was so good to see Jill, Ade, Richie and Darren, by the way Richie, I found your Rok strap near where we were standing, If you want to PM me with your address, I'll post it to you mate ;) .

Foby, I did see your bike there on the stand, but like Jill, didn't like to inquire as to who's it was on the stand, sorry, will endeavor to do better next time.

Sorry I didn't see Kev and Harry either, but glad you had a good time Kev.

Anyway, going to soak away my aches and pains now in the bath...... camping was never my bag....... well, in a tent anyway! :D

Jon

OMG Jon, sorry I forgot to mention I met you at least twice there. :oooops: It was great to see you, as always. :4roz: :4roz:

I was lovely weather, albeit a tad breezy. I think I have more windburn than sunburn.

Look forward to seeing you again soon. xx

The BMF show is a 10 minute ride away for me lOl but it was well attended with folk from far and wide. Enjoyed meeting up with freinds and having a few laughs. Darren sniffed out a few cracking bargains...he even got a discount on boots from a hard nosed stall holder from Yorkshire...Mrs Paggett

ps ....thanks Jon PM sent :yup:

Glad to hear you got your boots Darren (HLZbells). We had to stop shortly after leaving the show as the new bag we had bought blocked the mirrors on the FJR... A quick re-shuffle of gear made it useable though.. :yup:

Just a quick mention to Duncan, who I met at the BMF, and who has signed up as our newest member. Welcome to the Forum. Hope you find it of use and entertaining. There are many events and meet ups around the country. Look forward to meeting up with you again in the not too distant future.

Jill :D
