Did anyone go to the revised Beaulieu Bike Day last year?
Was it any improvement on the previous disappointments?
Is anyone thinking of going this year? ...Sunday 26th June

I did not go last year so cannot comment but was a little peeved as 2 years previous I entered a national photographic competition run by Beaulieu and won it, I revceived a nice crash helmet but the icing on the cake for me was my winning picture was to represent the next years motor bike show, posters, leaflets, hoardings etc and then due to poor weather the previous year and some in house politic over trade stall costs the format was cancelled and changed to as it is now. So never did see my picture in all its splender.
Looks like a bike meet with some trade stalls and a bike autojumble so could be worth a visit.

i went down last year coz it was a lovely day.

but i hadnt been to a bike event there for years ( last one i went to was run/promoted by MCN ) so i cant really compare with recent years events; it was certainly smaller than the MCN one.

there were plenty of folks there and a number of trade stalls and a few stunt shows so i didnt feel like i had wasted the trip ( but its only 10 miles from home ).

if the weathers any good i will probably go this year too.

I used to go to the old ones,and be part of the supermoto display,
