Beer was great and the barbie was brilliant,as always had a great laugh especially Micks stand up routine, had me in tears of laughter.

What everyone else said, a fantastic weekend and, in my case, special thanks to Richie  Faultless navigation that made the ride there and back far more interesting than plodding down the motorway. Also amusing to have a Dutch speaker among us. Everyone knows what good English the Dutch speak, some like Dorske even become adopted Brits but Richie will break into it at a moment's notice and kept us all amused.

Tried to repay the favour on the way home, Richie but I think you thought I was just another white van driving :tosser: lOl It was me who passed you at 90 mph beeping the horn then let you pass and shadowed you to the next exit. I hope Garry's chain got him home......belts are the future :yup:

Thankyou all for being such good company 8-)

Steve

568 miles (including two laps of Bourbourg :oooops: ) and the S1 didn't miss a beat. :yup:

Many thanks again to the Twin Power crew as well as their families and friends that get roped in to help out. We all appreciate that to make an event run smoothly, there is a lot of hard work going on in the background, both before and after the event. "Old School" is a phrase often bandied about these days, but these guys and girls treat us as if we are Family :worthy: :worthy: :worthy:
I left the bar with Ronald at 4.45am, so I missed the musical tents. lOl

It was great to spend a bit more time with peeps and get to know them a bit better. As you are all aware, I'm a shy retiring type of bloke and it was nice to chat.
Had a good blat back with Kev and Whitey, we did indeed sound like a squadron of Spitfires. 8-)

Here's a few photos, not very good quality I'm afraid. Click the thumbnail.

Looking forward to next year.

A truly wonderful time was had by all, great company, great food, great booze and a generally good old laugh – many thanks to our hosts who put together a memorable weekend. What was that about a camping carry-on. :coat:
