Having looked at my social calendar, I am sure I will be free to attend this event, and also hope to persuade my other Buell Blast friend to attend. Can you tell me how many other people usually make the trip? I love visiting Sammy Miller's museum, and have been a couple of times. Although it isn't very far from home, it would be fun to find a camp site for the weekend (with a pub nearby!!). There is no bike racing on (Motogp, WSB or BSB) so no real excuses not to visit. Waddya think??

Jilly

Mmmmm....bacon sarnie, my favourite!!!! Sounds good to me. Even if we were camping I may even make the trek to DG20....actually, no, I would likely get the camping stove out and make my own...not really lazy!!! I really want to meet up with you guys, the problem at the mo is timing... We seem to always be doing something when local events are happening. I am hoping next wednesday (1st July) to get down to Portsmouth for the bike meet behind the D Day museum, weather permitting.

Hi Jill

The UKBEG Buell Day at Sammy Miller's is usually one of the best attended UKBEG events - as Ash says, we can have 50 to 100 Buells turning up :P...

Jane and I will come down from Yorkshire on Saturday, 22nd. We usually stay at Ash's mums B&B but if you have a cunning plan, using your local knowledge, we could arrange something nearer the time regarding pubs/camping etc.

A fair few of us locals can also put people up as well, and sometimes go out on the Sat eve for a munch, beer or 2 and a natter ...

Sounds like a good meet up. I will have a look around and see if there is anything suitable camping-wise. I love visiting Sammy Miller's. Where is Ash's mums B & B?

Tough call??? Just do both - I'm going to attend the afternoon session of the beer festival on the Saturday (actually I'm performing so getting a free ticket) and will have an early night in preparation for a reasonably early start on Sunday to go to Sammy's. Go on - go on - go on you know it makes sense. Image
