Hi guys,

got one more problem with the repaired Firebolt.
The revs get stuck at around 2 to 2.5k. It returns to idle very slowly and sometimes seem to take forever.
I did some logging and it looks like the TPS goes back to it's original position but the revs stay at 2 to 2.5k.
Is there an air leak somewhere? :? .
I tried loading the original fuelmaps back onto the ECM, but no change.

Thanks for any ideas in advance.

Cheers
D.

Back off the tickover screw a little.

If it's DDFI-2, then retard spark advance at the first column (1900 or 2000 rmp in most cases) above maximum idle speed (~1400 rpm). Reducing spark advance to 10-12° in the two bottom rows seems to work fine.

Tried both suggestions, ta Pash and Danke Gunter.
Unfortunately it made no difference.

Looking at the attached log file, you can see that after TPS goes back to it's idle position the revs take about 8 to 10 secs to follow.

Am I reading this right :?

Cheers

A screenshot would work...

Did you say you had done a TPS reset?
