Hmm... that flat black is growing on me now...

Anyhoo, here's a comparison using an SS frame against using an S/SX frame...

I do prefer the shorter subframe, but actually there's not much in it and the SS subframe (I gather) will go on easier/more straightforwardly

So, who's got an SS subframe for sale....

I thought the flat black might work I was going to do satin black for my SX but sold it to buy my S1. In my opinion for looks alone the SX subframe looks best.

You're gonna have a nightmare packing/routing the Uly wiring harness, fusebox etc. in an S subframe

Eugene,

There's a couple on Ebay in the States, the description is wrong as the seller says they're from both a 12R and an STT ! Perhaps somebody can confirm if they are from an STT as I'm no expert and I know you want S ones. The first one is damaged but may be repairable, especially as you won't be using the footpeg hangers -

Yeah have read from a few people who've done the SS to S conversion and they say it's a challenge, but do-able - are a Uly's 'guts' longer/bigger still?

Ah well, where there's a will...

Difficult, infuriating but ultimately do-able?

Anyone work in SoHo with an S, SCG or SX?
